This sounds really good. Trés, trés délicieuse. But I didn’t make it. I’m sorry — there’s just been too much junk around here lately; we still have a slice of cheesecake left. For us, that’s unheard of. We just need a break from yummy baked goods.
Please head over to the Tuesdays With Dorie blogroll and read about everyone else’s French Pear Tart. It was chosen for us this week by Dorie Greenspan herself, to celebrate the first anniversary of Tuesdays With Dorie, and she has the recipe on her blog. You should try it. It looks fantastic.

I agree, this tart is a keeper!
Congrats on your own site! I didn’t make it either, and now every where I go, people are RAVING about it. I guess I will have to try it soon!
You’re all baked out! At least next week’s recipe is a savory one. 🙂
HAHA! You need to try that almond cream! It is pretty darn good. I will check back again. See you soon.
I can’t blame you, the holidays are killer! Next week’s should be better–I made it to go with some soup and it was such a nice change from all the desserts. Onward and upward!
Hmm. I thought about not making it, bec. I am, boring as it sounds, resolved to skinny up. Or skinny down, as it were…but I’ve also just resolved to become an active member of TWD again.
So I suffered through it…HA.
Will watch for your return.
love your cheesecake:)
i just placed 1/3 of my tart in the freezer, where it’s keeping company with many other twd leftovers, so i understand:)
I hear ya about being all baked out! One more sweet and I think my house will explode. See you next week!
I totally understand about being baked out sweet-wise. I love desserts, but looking forward to the savory choice this next Tuesday.
I love your tart!
